Edifecs' John Kelly to Speak at WEDI's Educational and Informational Forum on Health Data Interoperability

WEDI Board Member and Edifecs expert will explain how new standards and nascent technologies will impact data sharing and outcomes across the healthcare delivery ecosystem
Edifecs, Inc., a global health information technology solutions company, announces the participation of its Principal Business Advisor, John Kelly at the Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange (WEDI) 2019 Summer Forum, July 30-31, 2019 in Chicago. Kelly will join thought leaders from across the industry in helping health plans prepare to share information across payers, providers and patients in this two-day event. The WEDI 2019 Summer Forum: Bridging EDI to API- Working for Today, Preparing for Tomorrow, continues WEDI's education on information and challenges related to implementing the ONC and CMS proposed rules on patient data interoperability by 2020.

Open Discussion/Listening Session; New Technology- How the Standards Work Together (July 30, 2019, 4:00-5:00 p.m.): This will be an open discussion on how this new technology may impact current healthcare standards. Representatives will offer their thoughts on how the APIs and the new technology will work within their structure. Kelly will moderate a panel with the following experts:
